  1. Looks super stunning Mary! You have been working hard. Your asparagus looks fantastic, and the borage is so pretty. We've been putting them on our vanilla cupcakes lately. Incredible colour.

  2. Thanks Michelle. Love days like today when you've got the time and weather for working in it. Steve & his father planted the first lot of asparagus when we moved in in '90. So delicious straight from the garden. Borage would look lovely on your cupcakes! Come and have a look one day!

  3. Your garden is lovely. Mine needs another 10 years work methinks! Plus Spring hasn't hit us properly yet out here, the trees are still bare (despite having their leaves 5km's south of us) so I'm waiting and tapping my fingers impatiently.

  4. Inspiring stuff- we have 1 spear of Asparagus this year, which of course we can't eat! Love the expression on the dogs faces. Sometimes I'm sure they wonder what all the fuss is about in the garden!

  5. Thanks for the comments, Veronica & Hazel.
Asparagus is worth the wait...seaweed, lime, mushroom compost.
Love checking garden developments daily...it does happen overnight!

  6. Your garden looks beautiful. Is it very big? The dogs are so lucky to have that space to live in.

  7. Hi Melinda, thanks for the comment. Yes it is a big block - mostly grass when we moved in 20 years ago but I keep adding to it. No real overall design. I just wait for inspiration. The dogs are lucky although the old lab sleeps (&eats) most of the time now. She used to play chasings with our first dog which was hilarious, altho' a tad hard on the plants... : )
